March 2017 Friend Magazine Jeopardy Game
In an effort to encourage my kids to read the Friend magazine and to enforce the many wonderful lessons that are inside, I have created this Jeopardy game. My kids (ages 10, 8 and 6) play this friendly game at the end of the month after they have had an opportunity to read the entire magazine. I feel like we have had some really good conversations and discussions about the topics in the Friend. This helps me know that I can review the Friend with them since it is often difficult for me to read it, cover-to-cover, with all of my kids every month! I also think this would be fun to play during senior primary, on a fifth Sunday, or if you're like my ward, with the whole primary and let the teachers help!

Young Women 2016 Birthday Gifts
Our Young Women's Presidency decided to give arrow rings for the girls' birthdays in 2016. We also want to focus on the temple and having the girls set their goals to go through one day.
I got some super cute rings from Etsy- I got silver and gold so the girls could choose what they wanted. They put me in charge of putting them on a tag of some sort so they are ready to gift. We really liked the image from lds.org so ... this is what I came up with:
I printed them as 4x6s, cut them, and punched holes. After I slipped the ring through it, I put it in a pretzel bag then tied it with a matching ribbon. Easy peasy! You can upload the 4x6 image so you can make some for your girls, too! Just right click the image and click "Save Image As" then print your saved image from your home computer or upload to your favorite photo printing site.

No More Skunk Smell Formula
So, we went to Pine Valley last summer the same day that Ebony got sprayed by a skunk. The in-laws were saying that he was standing right next to a skunk and barking at it when it sprayed. So, my initial reaction was thinking that he had to have stunk pretty bad, but I COULD NOT smell him at all! This is what my father-in-law used to wash his dog and COMPLETELY get the smell out. I hope I don't ever need this but just in case, I wrote it down! And just in case you need to know how to get rid of the skunk smell too then here you go!
1 qt hydrogen peroxide

Let's Petition Porn!!
This sounds like a very good petition to sign! This is the least we can do to help decrease the availability of porn. Let's sign it and share it!!
Sign it here:

Require Porn to be an "Opt In" feature with Internet Service Providers rather than a standard feature.
In its current state, Internet porn seeks out users by email solicitations and massive amounts of free content throughout Internet browser searches. The average person, even children, can type in the word "cat" or "home" or "soup" and instantly be inundated with offensive and disturbing pornographic images. Parents and individuals have to go to great lengths to install Internet filters that often don't weed out all porn. We are asking for greater protection and responsibility from Internet Service providers and our country. We are asking that people who are interested in porn should have to seek it and choose it. They should have to "Opt In" for it by making arrangements to receive it with their Internet Service Provider. Everyone else should be free from it and assumed "Opt Out".Sign it here:

Luke 2:52
Sharing time on Sunday is revolved around the scripture Luke 2:52 "And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favour with God and man." The outline suggests that we sing "Jesus Once Was A Little Child" and display pictures of Jesus at different stages of his life which I plan to do. Then it suggests that we divide the primary kids into 4 groups and in each group we rotate into stations to focus on each section of this scripture. With my small primary, it's fun and easy to go a little overboard on handouts and activities! This time I made a little booklet for each child to take around to each station and fill out or work on. Hopefully, after sharing time the kids will have the desire to be like Jesus in each of these areas so that they can have a balanced life.
I think by looking at my outline, these documents will be self-explanatory! I plan to give my adult helpers a copy of what they should do in their station (found in the outline.) I plan to copy these booklets {double-sided} at the church library...the activity on a full sheet should be in the middle!
